POSSIBILITY OCEAN SUMMIT TO CONVENE BUSINESS, SCIENCE, AND POLICY LEADERS TO DRIVE THE FUTURE OF OCEAN OBSERVATION
Possibility Ocean, an initiative to bridge ocean data, commerce, and policy, will host its inaugural hybrid summit on March 18, 2025. The event will convene business leaders, scientists, funders, and advocates through a virtual gathering and in-person sessions in Newport, RI, and Berkeley, CA, exploring how ocean observation can drive sustainable economic growth and climate resilience.
You’re officially invited to Possibility Ocean
Our inaugural Possibility Ocean Summit is three weeks away on March 18, from 1-4 pm ET! We’re excited to gather business leaders, ocean data pioneers, and cross-sector innovators to unlock the economic potential of ocean data for the good of businesses and the planet.
Design Might Be the Key to Saving Our Ocean
While scientists, policymakers, and inventors bring vital expertise and groundbreaking technologies, it’s design that translates these insights into meaningful, impactful solutions. Possibility Ocean is where design meets the ocean, using data, technology, and creativity to forge a new narrative that sees our oceans not just as resources to be managed, but as partners in our shared future.
Why are Designers Starting an Ocean Data Conference?
Scientific knowledge alone doesn't move the needle toward a better future. Creative perspectives, compelling storytelling, and the courage to ask audacious questions help us approach intractable problems in new ways.
Coming out of Stealth & Location Announcement
We are coming out of stealth mode, and we are happy to announce that we are partnering with Mystic Seaport Museum to host the inaugural Possibility Ocean Conference in March 2025.
